Stephen Phillips from San Francisco, United StatesI love the palm tree filling out the frame in this one, Susan. The whirling lights of the rides now take on a suggestion of toys beneath an exotic Christmas tree. Wonderful light and motion. 5 Nov 2009 5:40am @Stephen Phillips: Thanks Stephen..... I like that exotic Christmas tree analogy!!! zOOm from Paris, FranceAlways this stunning HDR PP of yours Susan. Your signature and style. John from Geneva, United StatesThe carnival lights are pretty, but the way the palm tree is lit up from beneath is just fantastic. What does the HDR do for you - color, lighting, or both? 6 Nov 2009 12:51am @John: glad you liked it john....i think the hdr enhances just about everything there is in a photo...... the colors and the lighting just have so much more punch with it.....and it's fun to try and find shots to take, that make the most of it.... Sugata from Newark, United StatesLovely lights, both on the palm tree and from the background. My new camera has an in-camera HDR function. I haven't tried it yet though! 6 Nov 2009 7:53pm @Sugata: Wow, in camera HDR........wonder what it does.... will be interesting to hear from you once you've tried it!!!
