Spring FlingPosted by Susan (Fort Lauderdale, FL, United States) on 24 May 2009 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio. More from the "IN HOME" photo shoot......I don't know what these are, but I thought they were just beautiful........It was thundering and lightening outside while I was shooting indoors.....even too windy to shoot them on the patio.......so in the house I was......looking forward to when I can do something like this, and catch these flowers more naturally..... @Magda: Thanks much Magda.....I'm really starting to love shooting flowers in the house....I may never go outside again..... Hiro from Kyoto, JapanBeautiful color and nice selection of background color. Though you want to catch flowers more naturally, I think it would be better if you arranged the flowers. 24 May 2009 9:11am @Hiro: thank you, I think....:) @Ilan: Glad you enjoyed the shot...thanks for visiting.... @john4jack: Thanks much Jack......basically just the available light in the room i was in...funny thing....when i told my brother (who is also a photog nut like me), that i had done all this, he asked if I'd purchased "indoor lights" to do my photo shoots!!??!! My response to him was if it's not here in the house...I ain't using it!! marc battault from clermont ferrand, Francebeautiful light and color ,a great paint ! 24 May 2009 5:05pm @marc battault: thanks....xxooxx Graham Russon from Cape Town, South AfricaWonderful shot, the detail and textures are great. The black background is particularly effective. 24 May 2009 7:31pm @Graham Russon: Thanks much Graham...the more I shoot these flowers with the black background (currently a long black skirt and a short black dress!!) the more I like them.....Must take trip to fabric store and buy a few yards of black fabric! :) K.B.R from SwitzerlandBeautiful flowers, with its beautiful colors. excellent photo. 24 May 2009 8:27pm @K.B.R: Thanks very much for visiting, and commenting so nicely!!! @angel: Thanks:) Judy from Brooksville, Florida, United StatesThey're beautiful, Susan, set off with a black background! 24 May 2009 9:44pm @Judy: Thanks much Judy....i'm really liking the flowers against the black......did more today.....gonna go see how they turned out!!! Lee from Fort Frances Ontario, CanadaGreat creative shooting. And the light is wonderful. Marvelous. 25 May 2009 2:10am @Lee: Thanks much Lee....Just used the available light that was coming in off the screened in patio, thru sliding glass doors.....and an old black skirt as a background!!!! One gets mighty creative when they're trapped in the house for a month, and starting to get restless!!! You all will probably be pretty sick of all my new flowers in a week or so.......but it's keeping me busy, so that's good!! willow from Chelsea, United StatesNatural or not, these are beautiful. I don't know what they are either. 25 May 2009 11:36pm @willow: Too bad I got them in the supermarket, or I'd know what they were!!!
