Proud as a Peacock

Posted by Susan (Fort Lauderdale, FL, United States) on 4 May 2009 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio.

Since Sunfest was basically a bust for me, I will continue to post oldies but goodies, since I've not been able to get out and shoot recently. This peacock lives at Flamingo Gardens in Davie, FL, and is one of many beautiful specimens that reside there year round.

What's not to be proud of! This is beautiful - both the bird and your photo of him. I've always found it hard to capture the color of these guys without a lot of glare. Sending you happy back-healing thoughts.
