I was out at the end of Anglin's Fishing Pier in Fort Lauderdale, and this is the view I saw back at the beach......loved the sky.

Fantastic composition!!! The sky looks musical...I'm not sure how to describe what I mean by that!!! Its wonderful!!!

Fabulous work. The color of the water is so serene. Sky looks amazing. The view of the wooden bridge is very well captured. A 5* shot.

Lovely hdr result! It would be even better if you could capture more clouds but still an amazing shot!

@dkc: Thanks DKC....only way I could have gotten more clouds was if I lost the bottom of the shot, and I kind of liked the way the pier railing looks.......Either lose the bottom of the shot, or have a wider lens than the 11m i used!!

Brilliant shot, the sky is marvelous, but I particularly like the textures in the wood.

@Graham Russon: Thanks much Graham......although that wood is fairly new, since the pier was destroyed by a hurricane a few years ago, it weathers quickly, being exposed to the salt water all the time!!

Wonderful shot, Susan! You really nailed the colors... in the musical blue sky (it looks like a busy piece of hand-written sheet music, scrawled with lots of raucous notes), the hint of green in the water, and the touch of gray in the not-so-new-anymore wood. Really nice work, all the way around! Thanks for sharing this one!

@jamesy: Yup, there's nothing like the light in late afternoon at the beach....it's my favorite time there, that, and sunrise....but being that i'm not really a morning person, I don't catch many sunrises at the beach!!
